Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery

The Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery is owned, operated, and licensed to a group of dedicated Veterans whom receive no compensation. Since November 04, 2023, there have been 553 burials. Phase one will hold 1500 graves and when fully developed the Cemetery will hold approximately 16,000 graves. The land, 67 acres, was donated by Sussex County.

The NNJVMC are working to keep the cost as low as possible. The state of NJ requires a percentage of all plot sales and opening fees go into a Maintenance and Preservation Fund for the perpetual care of the cemetery. We welcome the support of donations.

The term "eligible veteran" shall be

defined by the National Cemetery Administration.

AN AFFORDABLE RESTING PLACE

Our goal is to provide an affordable burial for Veterans and their Spouses.

The State of New Jersey requires a 15% of all plot sales, 3% or $20 (whichever is higher) of each opening fee, and 10% of each foundation installation fee to be deposited into

a Maintenance and Preservation Fund for the perpetual care of the cemetery.

A fee will be added to all openings during the winter months.

We are now accepting credit cards a 3% transaction fee will be applied at the time of each transaction.
